Warranty and service
Our products are manufactured in Italy according to the highest standards of quality and performance and our warranty policy is a statement of confidence.
SIGMA provides a warranty on its SIGMA products against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty covers all components and labor performed on your machine. This is subject to the repair being carried out by us.
The delivery and collection of the machine are at the expense of the owner, if the defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed we will also reimburse the expenses incurred for the return of the product.
Duration of the guarantee
The warranty is valid from the date of purchase.
The duration of the warranty is that in force at the time of purchase and published in the documentation and on the website.
The warranty is subject to proper use of the product and periodic maintenance according to the recommended intervals, the warranty period will be two years, unless otherwise communicated.
For products used commercially (ie for hire or use by contractors, municipalities, campsites, water authorities, or any other similar use where the machine is used for economic gain or instrumental to use in properties used for economic gain) the warranty period will be 1 year, unless otherwise stated.
For products replaced under warranty, the warranty period will remain in effect from the original date of the first purchase.
Exclusions
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Wear items such as wheels, belts and blades...
- Defects which, in our opinion, are attributable to:
- or normal wear and tear;
- or misuse/ accidental damage;
- or failure to follow the instructions for use;
- or carelessness;
- or use of extra parts, spare parts or components that are not original and not expressly authorized;
- or contaminated/stale fuel.
- Periodic maintenance services provided for in the operator’s manual or replacement of wear and tear components, including oil, filters, batteries, brake linings, cloth grass collection bags, fuses and other parts, unless it can be demonstrated that the object has a manifest manufacturing defect. These items may be damaged due to normal wear and tear or lack of maintenance.
- Modified products
- Products repaired or tentatively repaired
The only ones that can provide repair under warranty are the authorized centers or us directly. - IMPORTANT: The warranty on Honda engines is provided by the official Honda service circuit.
Product registration
Your new purchase is automatically registered in our archives by creating an account on the site tosaerbasigma.it
To validate the warranty in case of repair, it is necessary to store the order confirmation email.
Service / 4-year warranty
SIGMA products are covered by a conditional warranty of 4 years from the date of purchase.
This warranty is non-transferable.
If the machine is used under certain conditions, additional servicing or maintenance will be required as recommended in the user manual.
These conditions include, inter alia:
- humidity
- dry environmental conditions and exposure to dust
- high temperatures
- daily use of the machine
Spare parts
The purchase of spare parts is excluded from this warranty.

Exclusion of warranty
The warranty is only valid for defects of SIGMA products.
No person is authorized to make any warranties, representations or promises, express or implied, on behalf of SIGMA nor to modify in any way the terms, conditions or limitations of this warranty.
No user is authorized to perform any maintenance on the products themselves, under penalty of loss of any warranty, without prior written permission.
SIGMA is not liable in any case for damages caused by failure to comply with the regular and scheduled maintenance deadlines if and as specified in the Owner’s Manual.
SIGMA is not liable in any case for damages resulting from maintenance or repairs that do not comply with the procedures.
SIGMA is under no circumstances liable for any damage caused by the use of non-original spare parts and accessories or by lubricants, liquids and fuels not included among those specified; in addition, damage caused by operating modes other than those described in the owner’s manual.
SIGMA is not liable in any case for special, incidental or consequential damages, if these are due to improper or incorrect use of the products.
SIGMA is obliged to repair or replace defective products that meet the above conditions.
The choice between repair or replacement is at SIGMA’s sole discretion.
The SIGMA warranty is provided in addition to your legal rights.
